Mariat Jibril is a key influencer in the community with a passion in creating success for business owners, and the community at large.  She advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This advocacy means using the lens of intersectionality for a just and equitable society while amplifying the voices, listening, and serving the need of diverse segments. (Black, Indigenous, People of colour, the 2SLGBTQ community, Youths, Women and Non-Binary and Persons with disabilities).

She has been recognized for successful projects by the Canadian Federal Minister of Small Business (Mary Ng) and the then Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion of Canada (Patty Hadju) now Minister of Indigenous Services.

Mariat holds an Executive MBA from Athabasca University. She worked and lived in Ireland (Dublin & Athlone) for 10 years and in the UK for 23 years before relocating to Canada eight years ago.

Mariat Jibril will act as moderator on the panel discussion Irish Women Leaders in Business.
