Chris Morrisey

Chris Morrissey a 79-year-old, first generation white settler in Canada. After many years living in a variety of countries she returned to Canada, along with her partner, Bridget Coll.

This began their journey into the world of Immigration. Together they co-founder & volunteered with LEGIT: Canadian Immigration for Same-Sex Partners and Rainbow Refugee Society.

Prior to retiring Chris worked for a number of years with older members of the LGBTQ community and was involved in education of service providers from that sector.

Since retiring, Chris’ volunteer work is with LGBT asylum seekers, refugees and newcomers and as a member of the City of Vancouver People with Disabilities Advisory Committee.
