Brigid Festival Vancouver 2022
A huge thank you to all the people who attended the Brigid Festival Vancouver 2022 from across the world and made it a great success.
Our sincere gratitude to all the presenters who volunteered their time to share their inspiring stories. A special thanks to Uachtarán na hÉireann (President of Ireland), Michael D. Higgins, for his beautiful letter. We would also like to thank Frank Flood, the Consul General of Ireland for Vancouver, and his team, along with Dr. Eamonn McKee, the Ambassador of Ireland to Canada, for their incredible support. This free event was made possible through a grant by the Government of Ireland Emigrant Support Programme along with generous sponsorship by a number of local Irish businesses which we have listed below.

The Brigid Festival Vancouver 2022 was again a virtual event owing to pandemic restrictions. Even with the inconvenience of not being able to meet in person, we were able to share many wonderful (sometimes sad) stories of the women of Ireland and women across the world - their courage, their ingenuity, and their spirit to prevail.
Please see below for our presenter list, as well as the recordings from the different sessions. Míle Buíochas (many thanks) and we hope to see you back again next year!
